1. Focus on their strengths. What we focus on expands, so focus on what is good about them, what activities bring you together and have fun together, and let go of the tight grasp of control and let God help you. 
2. Take your frustrations to the Lord and your love to your family. Trust God in all ways.
3. Everyday is a piece of God's bigger miracle, we just can't see it yet. Our trials are part of a  process of becoming like Him.  Allow each person to be moving at their own pace. Everything is ok now and everything is made perfect through our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jenny Sargeant Doxey has faced many unknowns as she entered her marriage knowing her husband had been diagnosed at a young age with bipolar disorder and the impact mental health would have on a family. It wasn’t until Jenny went through her own dark period of postpartum depression after her 4th baby that she truly empathizes with other people who deal with chronic mental health challenges. Jenny shares her personal journey of faith, the power she found in reaching out for help in her own time of need and her desire to yoke herself to the Savior.

I want to read a special Christmas story that was written and told by my father many years ago. My father, Graham W. Doxey, passed away 10 years ago and to this day, my family loves to read his personal collection of writings as his testimony of Jesus Christ shines through in his beautiful story telling. This  story is my father’s personal witness that baby Jesus was born in a stable and laid in a manger of hay. The love that radiates from Jesus is as real today as it was on the night He was born. This is a special Christmas episode with Maegan Page Duryea. We discuss the question, how do you prioritize Christ in your Christmas? I have felt the holiday pressures of the never-ending list of things to do on top of an increased amount of events and activities of every kind, ranging from family, to church, to work and school.  It has caused me a lot of stress and anxiety during the holidays in the past because I have felt "all the pressure is on me" as the mom. In this episode, Maegan shares some of her holiday hacks, or favors to herself to help her focus on what's most important. She has a great perspective about  focusing on Christ as she navigates the holiday season with 7 children and busy church responsibilities.  Maegan says, as a mom, when we give ourselves the gift of the Savior each day, even in the smallest degree, then that allows us to bless everyone else.
