Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was in Mississauga yesterday where he appeared with Ontario Premier Doug Ford and made an announcement about AstraZeneca expanding its research and development hub there. Ottawa and the province have recently arrived at a bilateral healthcare agreement. Meanwhile, Trudeau has defended Toronto Liberal MP Han Dong after it was reported that the Chinese government was involved in influencing his nomination in 2019. Also, the federal government has banned the use of Tik Tok on government issued phones to its employees to better protect them from cyber attacks and surveillance.
