About the guest – Author Regina LaFrance has come a long way since leaving her native small village. A place she called home until tragedy struck. Drawing from her direct experience, her semi-autographical novel, Shayla, is a depiction of the events that happened when she was violently raped as a young girl by a pedophile priest in her community. Hi, I am Lori Osborne, and I am the Founder and Chief Solutions Architect for BizBolster Web Solutions, LLC. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me so you can best determine if we would work well together! If you are a small business owner/manager, solopreneur, or you support a non-profit, we’re off to a good start. My focus is to provide businesses like yours with more than a website… I want to provide you with a marketing solution that WORKS for you! I absolutely love technology…I love everything about it! Building websites and planning digital marketing strategies are my passion (they literally get me up in the morning) and providing you with this expertise is my calling. I have worked in technology for over 25 years in a wide variety of sectors. I have also owned two small businesses and have been part of several others, so I know what it’s like to wear a dozen different hats.
Regardless of the role or title, my main strengths have always been communication, planning, quality control/testing, content creation, and attention to detail. (Yes, I am a recovering Type A and a Perfectionist!) So while I’m meeting your technical and marketing needs, I am also applying these skills. But building your website and planning your digital marketing strategy is much more than just understanding technology and pushing keys on a keyboard! It takes understanding you and your area of specialty, as well as understanding the proper marketing approach to take to ensure that your website is exceptional at attracting prospects and turning those prospects into clients. Your website needs to do more than just look good - it needs to literally be the hub of your business and your marketing!

About the guest –
Kevin Rempel has surmounted incredible life challenges to reach the Olympic podium and now brings his powerful message of hope and resilience to audiences through his speaking and writing. Kevin Rempel is a 2013 World Champion and 2014 Sochi paralympic bronze medalist in sledge hockey with an incredible story of overcoming a tremendous amount of adversity.
Overcoming Challenges After a freestyle motocross accident left Kevin an incomplete paraplegic at the age of 23, he was told by doctors he would likely never walk again. Adding to this, Kevin had to deal with his father, Gerry, who fell from a tree while deer hunting, leaving him a complete paraplegic only one year from retirement. Unfortunately, Gerry couldn’t deal with living with is circumstances and took his own life in July 2007.
Physical & Mental Resilience That following year, “Remps” as he likes to be called by his friends, was determined. He willed himself to move one toe, then another, then another until – eventually – he not only walked again but was able to become one of Canada’s best Paralympic athletes, earning a bronze medal at the 2014 Paralympics in Sochi, Russia. Since then, he has travelled the world, inspired thousands of people, and has been featured around the world in media such as CBC, TSN, and BBC Sport.
