In this episode of shit I need to know I talk with artist and consultant Bill Shugart. Bill has created a company called Locol. Bill’s company has partnered with many Fortune 500 companies to bring a new vibrancy to the art world. In particular: LOCOL is pioneering the relationship between local artists and development companies here in Central Florida . The reason I want to talk with Bill is because he specializes in art licensing and that is something that I am very interested to find out more about.

Today I have the pleasure of talking with Cole Nesmith, an experienced curator, writer, musician, actor, and speaker. He's the founder and artistic director of the Creative City Project. He's also co founder and chief creative officer of the Memoir Agency. Through these two companies, Cole works to make every place and moment meaningful through epic events and immersive experiences.

Today I talk with Jennifer Coolidge. Jennifer is a director of philanthropy for the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. She's also lead curator for Mills Gallery here in Orlando, Florida. Jennifer has been an arts and non profit consultant, fundraiser, art educator, museum and gallery curator, working with artists and non profit arts and social service organizations.  In addition, Coolidge has been recognized as a Florida Ambassador of the Arts. She has served on the Board of Directors for Florida Cultural Alliance, received many awards for her distinguished leadership also.  However, the main reason I'm talking with Jennifer today is because of her 10 years expertise as the Executive Director of the Museum of Art in DeLand.

On today's episode, I talk with gallerist extraordinaire, Boris. Boris claim to fame is unusual in that he started a gallery as an unknown in the field, not even a fan of art, but despite that has become begrudgingly accepted in the arts community.
