Shiva Blast

The byes are over and we are instantly down to business. 4 weeks remain before the finals  and every team has something to play for - whether it’s pushing for Top 2 and a week off, a Top 6 finals berth or prepping for a scrap to avoid relegation. There’s added pressure for 16 of our coaches too with the Knockout Competition back on. Plus there’s the business of announcing our Song Contest finalists. It’s a full book on this week’s SHIVA BLAST!

Sometime life gets in the way but even when it does, fantasy footy and Shiva rolls on. The song contest got a small delay but despite that, you get a mini-SHIVA BLAST!

2025 Song Contest entries due Monday June 23. Email through to [email protected]

Unlucky Round 13. We haven’t played it in the bye era and half the competition will be wishing that was still the case. Did a round of low scores in the real game translate to the same in Shiva? We’ll find out as we move towards the mid-way point of the byes and the song contest. This is the SHIVA BLAST!

1 bye round down, 4 to go. The good news? This week it SHOULD be the easiest of the weeks with Best 15 and only 2 teams missing. To celebrate, it’s a bye themed podcast and we’re aiming to give you 16.666 percent less content than usual. That’s right, it’s the SHIVA BLAS!

*Some weeks are tougher than others and we ran into a bunch of technical issues with this record. Thanks especially to Seags and Bacon who showed a huge amount of patience and made sure the episode still went ahead*

We’re at the halfway point of the minor rounds which means it’s time for some reflection. Has Shiva blessed you with good luck or has it been an ordeal? Have bad decisions haunted you or maybe some savvy waiver acquisitions or trades have sent you up the ladder? There’s still time to change your fortunes for better or worse of course, and there’s time for this week’s SHIVA BLAST!

It was a round of close finishes in the AFL but perhaps the hardest beat of the weekend was a Top 10 of the round scoring Shiva team copping a loss. Shiva can be a harsh mistress at times. Let's dive in on a fun-sized SHIVA BLAST!

In a week where carrot related content on Shiva’s social media grew exponentially after another all-time performance from our Statsman, there was also some pretty ordinary footy to watch. Some big time fantasy names produced some big time fantasy scores but not everyone shared in the spoils. Let’s break it down vertically, not horizontally on the SHIVA BLAST! Mwaaaaah
