Shiva Blast

Coaches, welcome to 2025. A huge year for Shiva with some substantial changes. With registration opening on Monday January 13, Seags joins the Commissioner to discuss the new platform, new rules and what hasn't changed since last year.

In a special off-season collaboration, The Keeper League podcast (https://keeperleaguepod.com.au/) hosted by Heff joins forces with the Shiva Blast to interview Ryan Power. Ryan created the Ultimate Footy platform and is now behind a new platform named Keeper (https://keeperfantasy.com/)

Find out about his journey to this point, what inspired the new creation and get excited as he reveals some of the functionality that will be available to you in Season 2025!

You’d expect Grand Final weekend to throw up surprises, but a pre-lockout platform meltdown was the truly unexpected twist to invigorate things. But days later, what remains are 68 champions across 69 leagues (one Coach did it twice) to add to the honour roll. It’s time to hit record one last time and have a proper meltdown on the SHIVA BLAST!

After 17 rounds of Shiva action, it is decided! The final 6 are set in each Division and the finals are here. Can those who have enjoyed a blessed run throughout the year stick the landing in the last few weeks, or will early retirements and a multitude of season ending injuries derail even the best of squads. It’s finals time on the SHIVA BLAST!

It’s a race to the finals finish line now as divisions throughout the competition feel the squeeze for the Top 2 and Top 6 positions. But there’s other prizes to be won too - money for overall top scorer, for each league’s minor premier and for our Knockout Champion who we’ll crown. The heat is on for the SHIVA BLAST!

It doesn’t matter HOW you get there, as long as you get there. Clutch draws, lucky wins, progressing into the knockout final with a sub 1400 score. It doesn’t matter HOW you get there as long as you get there. We’ll see how you fared and look at some huge competition-wide results as we edge nearer to the finals on the SHIVA BLAST!

It’s that awful time of year. 3 weeks before fantasy finals. Everything in alignment and then an injury here, a suspension there, another injury there, ANOTHER FUCKING INJURY and before you know it things start to fall apart. Maybe it’s you, maybe it’s your opponent - just pray that Shiva shines on you. We’ll assess this week’s damage on the latest SHIVA BLAST!

What Shiva can giveth, Shiva can taketh away. It’s a sobering lesson that we are reminded of in some rounds and Round 17 was no exception. Injuries, sub vests, negative scores, Clayton Olivers - the competition was full of bad luck stories this week. Let’s find out who was blessed to miss it all on the SHIVA BLAST!
