Rabbi Avi Kannai is the Rav of the Mitzpe Ramot Congregation, a thriving and diverse community, in Ramot Bet, Jerusalem.  He is a clinical psychologist in private practice and in the psychiatric department of the Herzog Hospital in Jerusalem.  He is a popular lecturer at both the Herzog College and Lifshitz College.

About Rabbi Dani Abell:

After attending Fasman Yeshiva High School, Dani learned at Yeshivat Shaalvim for three years.  He went on to receive a bachelor’s degree from Hebrew Theological College, in Skokie IL, and holds a master’s in Jewish Education and Administration from Yeshiva University's, Azrieli Graduate School.  He spent the seven years learning at the Shaalvim Kollel and joined the staff as the Mashpia of the overseas program. Dani simultaneously taught at numerous seminaries and is currently a Rebbi and Administrator at Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayem (MMY).  Dani resides in Ramot with his wife Lea and their five children.

What better week to launch a new series dedicated to the beautiful Shabbos Kodesh and it's parasha than a few days after Iran launched it's destructive-intent drone and missile attack on Israel. Spreading more Torah and shmoozing with special friends in the podcast studio is the perfect antidote to any would-be evil regime whose days will soon be numbered be'ezrat Hashem.
