Fer is always experimenting and searching for opportunities to create art. We loved chatting to Fer about his approach to photography & business - he doesn't chase after awards or sponsorships and his main goal is to create art and freedom for himself. This outlook drives his success and happiness as a photographer.

Welcome to episode 96 of Shoot Edit Chat Repeat, the podcast for people photographers. Hosted by two leading UK portrait photographers, Vicki Knights & Eddie Judd.
This week we have our very own Eddie chatting to you about all things editing. Eddie shares her advice on finding your style and the importance of a good workflow. She shares her favourite shortcuts and gives you some essential backing up advice.
Eddie started her obsession with editing in her home darkroom at 16 years old. This led to the colour darkrooms during her university education in photography. She learnt how to recognise great imagery and keep organised systems in her career as a picture editor at magazines.
Having a good workflow and a consistent style was a high priority when she became a full-time photographer and through trial and error, she's here to pass on her workflow wisdom.
You can book onto one of her ‘quick fixes’ here where, via zoom, she can help you with workflow/presets or anything else you are stuck with in Lightroom. These are currently 25% off! https://eddie.as.me/quick-fix
She recommends the cloud storage Backblaze which can be found here: https://secure.backblaze.com/r/00aaiw

This week we have a lovely chat with Rachel Larsen Weaver who is family & portrait photographer based on the east coast of America. Rachel is a mother to five and her enthusiasm for details and self-love are infectious.
Her portfolio and practice is in her own words ‘fat-affirming, mindful, and genuine’, focusing on the life and light of clients as she travels the country documenting mothers, bodies, and details.
We chat to Rachel all about the two types of unique sessions she offer - long-form stories with families and body stories with women. We ask her how she instills genuine confidence in her clients to be themselves.
We hope you enjoy the chat as much as we did!
