Shoot The Flick

This week, Frankie introduces Scott to Little Miss Sunshine! This indie road trip dramedy is a grounded, sweet film with a hell of an ensemble cast. How will Scott like this mid-2000's Oscar darling? Will he share the near-obsessive love that Frankie has for the movie? Or will he be distracted by his disdain for the jackass father character and the portrayal of child beauty pageants? Find out on this episode of SHOOT THE FLICK!

This week Scott introduces Frankie to Predator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. The couple reviews this classic 80's action movie and discusses the strange enigma that is Schwarzenegger's "charisma" on screen. Will Frankie fall down the rabbit hole of this strange movie franchise? Or will she just spend the whole time laughing at the many one-liners and scream "GET TO THE CHOPPA!!!" a million times? Who knows?! (Spoiler Alert: it's the latter) Find out on this episode of SHOOT THE FLICK!

This week Frankie introduces Scott to The Muppet Movie (HOW HAS HE NEVER SEEN THIS?!?). The two of them review the film and discuss the incredible legacy of Jim Henson, as well as the "technical wizardry" behind the scenes. Will Scott give the movie the love it deserves? Or will Frankie have to pull a Miss Piggy and karate chop some sense into him? Find out on this episode of SHOOT THE FLICK!
