Stanford Steve & The Bear

Short on College Football, Long on World Cup

Listen Later

Stanford Steve and The Bear preview the Week 12 college football slate and talk about if UCLA will ruin USC’s season, what to expect from TCU in Waco, their differing takes on LSU-UAB, Army giving 10 points to UConn, the time Steve played in a 10-3 Stanford-Cal game and a few College Football Playoff scenarios. Then, the guys are joined by Taylor Twellman to preview the World Cup. They discuss exercising caution when betting against Qatar, Iran getting out of the group, the Netherlands’ value to win it all, the French being the French, Japan as an x-factor, Germany’s total team goals, Canada’s speed, if Portugal is better without Ronaldo, Bear’s Serbia bet, if all the stadiums look like FedEx Field and the pressure on the U.S. men’s national team.
