6 Daily Reminders Reduce Stress
As a leader, we got to activate the drive daily, which can be hard on an already loaded plate. We decide each day to manage our stress intentionally and, at the same time, punch above our weight class despite our fears.
How often did you have it that you bumble into the day, feeling frustrated and overwhelmed an hour later? You are a striver. You try to go above and beyond. Do not despair; we all have been there.
The fun fact is that we can do something about it…
You can take it easy; start with one thing.
You will often want to do everything at once and have instant results. It might help to back it up and reflect. Stack the habits on top of each other, but if you are already stressed, one little progress might be a savior to bring you back to the center.
👉 1. Read or listen to something inspirational — You must feed your mind with positivity daily. It might seem ‘nice to have,’ but it is a must!
👉 2. Exercise or move — When we sweat and do physical workouts, we challenge ourselves and our bodies and deepen our grit and resilience. Find what makes you feel good.
👉 3. Go for a walk — Walking is very healthy, and when you have days where you do not have time to take a breather, go for a walk for at least 10min instead of exercise. It will refresh your mind, awaken the creative process, and calm your mind.
👉 4. Do affirmations — Find a way to fill your mind with something positive, like telling yourself that you got this, you are a great leader, and that your life is improving daily.
👉 5. Take breaks — Do not forget to schedule breaks. Do not stay in back-to-back meetings the whole day. You will come out like a Zombie-drained and exhausted. Instead, schedule shorter meetings.
👉 6. Have fun — Life is about fun; it is about doing what is necessary for you first. Listen to your intuition and your gut.
You are amazing! You can always strive and always try to go to the next level. Sometimes you need to be grateful, have grace with yourself in the quiet, and reflect on how far you have come.

The roadmap allows you to measure your progress and notice where you are on the map. Not just on the road to achievement but in other areas as well.

Know your progress intimately. Familiarize yourself with your goals and make sure you go and move towards your goals.

Growing your impact means you’ll have to skill up and get a better sword and equipment.

Don’t beat yourself up if you don’t know or see someone else making faster progress. Your journey is your own.

Choose your pace and your destination. The way you get there might change as you mature and grow! That’s fine and normal.
