We arrive at our second to last Sign of Affection episode. But first, we catch up, IRL Sarah is back from her vacation and managed not to get fried! Meanwhile Joe has watched some anime and done pretty much nothing else.

In a sign of affection we get into our beloved side character drama. Hey, wouldn’t it suck if you liked your friend but they were into someone else? Well imagine that happened for four different people. At least Rin is having a better time and we get to see Yuki and Itsuomi have fun couple moments. We’ll see how it all ends next week!

Spoilers for Jurassic World Rebirth, We finish off the Jurassic Park movies. Mutants, Boats, video game objectives. This movie has a lot going on but also not much. For the first time we have slightly diverging opinions too! Join us for the final JP cinema episode!

We jump to three episodes this week! But first, Sarah and Joe had pretty mild weeks. Not much going on it seems so we talk about a bunch of random stuff.

In A Sign of Affection, Yuki and Itsuomi take the plunge! Wow! So quick! And we get what seems like an end-of-show credit sequence on episode 6, so that’s pretty weird. There is more to this show for sure, we gotta learn like backstories and stuff. But with only 5 episodes left, how much can we learn??

We watch the sixth Jurassic Park movie. This movie boldly asks the question, what if Jurassic Park wasn't really about Dinosaurs at all? A question no one asked and doesn't need to be answered. But here we are. Almost at the end. Please be at the end.

We’re return this week for episodes 3 and 4. But first, Sarah and Joe catch up on the trials of social drinking as not so outgoing folks.

In a sign of affection we go to Costo. Yuki and Itsuomi are hitting it off pretty well even though everyone thinks he’s weird and distant. It’s actually going fine. Don’t worry about it. Oushi is worried about it, but we don’t really like him so who cares. Surely no drama will happen and everything will be straight-forward from here! As stated in the pod, next time we’ll be watching three episodes so look forward to a slightly faster pace!

We watch the fifth installment in the Jurassic Park cinematic franchise. In this one, our heroes must return to dinosaur island to try to re-classify the dinosaurs as a protected species, but it turns out the corporate upstarts want to really use the dinosaurs for profit and...oh I'm sorry I was reading my Lost World notes. In this one the island blows up.

This week we start a brand new show! But first, Sarah and Joe catch up on our lives. Joe has now watched both Vampire Hunter D movies while Sarah showed her mom Attack on Titan.

Then we get into our new show a Sign of Affection! We meet Yuki, a college kid who starts to catch some feelings for the tall and mysterious Itsuomi. Yuki, who is deaf, must put herself out there to get his attention! And she makes tons of progress compared to our other shows. Will we see some on-screen romance? Between adults? Can this truly be???

We’ve done it! Two seasons down, one to go. Join us for the season 2 finale of Chihayafuru!

In our real lives, Joe is enrolling in the wrong language classes while Sarah is mourning the end of a notably non-romantic season of Love Island.

In Chihayafuru, Mizusawa cleans up the individual tournament, Taichi finally ranks up, and Shinobu takes a rare L. Oh and also we learn that maybe Arata is thinking about Chihaya constantly. Like all the time. And maybe she’s in love with him too. Hm, things are looking pretty bad in the Taichi corner of this love triangle, but hey, there’s always season three for him to make a comeback!

We're back again, one away from the end of the season. But first, we catch up on the latest news from us. Sarah watched the latest Jurassic Park and it was...uh...a movie. Joe meanwhile has watched two good animated movies: Kpop Demon Hunters and Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society. I can tell you who had the better time.

In Chihayafuru, we continue on to the individuals tournament! Chihaya is injured but that won't stop her. She'll win with the power of left handedness. Then she rematches against Shinobu. Can she pull it out this time around? Probably not with that uinjury. Oh well, there's always next year...

We enter the sequel phase of our Jurassic Park watch through with Jurassic World 2015. Years later, we return to dinosaur island to explore a new park. We got Chris Pratt, a super dino, bizarre subplots, a bunch of product placement, and an old dino friend. Surely nothing will go wrong this time right?
