Chance The Rapper, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Tori Kelly, Stormzy… few examples of artists who will proudly call themselves Christians but not refer to themselves as Christian artists. 

The waters in which Gospel/Christian music are wading in seem to be getting muddier by the day. Is there a difference between Gospel and Christian music? Can you really make it as a Christian artist? Does there need to be a specific genre for music about God or do we just need to allow for more God-specific content in ‘regular’ genres such as Pop, Rock or Drill?
