"I'm here so I won't get fined" - Marshawn Lynch
Fancy cars, huge endorsements, grand salaries ... all are in the name of the game of being a top athlete in today's day and age. We missed out on one thing though... press interviews - the bane of an athlete's career. Athletes' participation in press conferences is an old-age delete which frequently comes back up - Naomi Osaka's decision to not engage sparked outrage everywhere and accusations of snowflaking. Consequently, athletes have started taking the narrative into their own hands with the likes of Paul Pogba and Michael Jordan. Chatterbox Podcast's Ayowande debates sports enthusiast Okemdi as we determine: Do the press abuse the access they're given? Are athletes entitled considering how much press boosts their career?

It's no secret that we generally center romantic relationships in our society. Whether through TV, Music or even Academic Research - however friendship - the other relationship that we get to choose seems to get pushed to the side. Content creator, Reni (xoReni) debates I Dunno TBH's Veronica as we determine whether the centring of friendships would see fewer issues in loneliness and connection that we see today? Or is it more that we need to expand our notions of romance to be more expansive to gain the much needed healing from them? Should we hold all relationships equally in our lives?

We're taking a pause from some of our champion debates to reflect on some of The Motion community's pettiest debates with siblings or roommates. Have you ever had a fallout over toilet roll? Not ordered a meal because you know your sister's gonna copy it? Stolen your sister's food and argued with her about the amount you stole rather than whether you stole it or not?

Do you save yourself stress & disappointment when you stay politically indifferent - or is it selfish & a privileged mindset? The Motion's Fé Oj debates Brown Sugar's Hannah as Twenties Squared's Nicola hosts!

“I gotta put me first Lucious!”

As NoShade Podcast’s MyOwnRoyalty debates Lost in the Sauce’s Ope - we determine: did Molly Mae/ Kim K have a point? "When I grow up I want to be famous, I want to be a star, I want to be in movies" (Shakespeare aka the Pussycat Dolls). As we grow up we tend to swap dreams of being a fairy with something more corporate or "realistic". Some people do end up in what they'd call a "dream job", but does this actually exist? Is it normal to dream of work or have we been brainwashed? Alternatively do people settle so early in their careers, or because they feel they have no options which discourages them from dreaming and discovering their dream job?
