In this episode, I discuss red meat and why we need to look beyond its vilification in the media or even by doctors to assess its health benefits for us as individuals.
Many of the studies that associate red meat or processed meats with heart disease fail to look at the lifestyle of the people eating the meat. More than likely these people are regularly consuming fast food and prepared foods. More than likely their fruit and vegetable intake is not robust.
Like we have we have talked about many times, food that is devoid of life-giving inputs such as vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals are going to create a diseased and dysfunctional body.
