Rena Taylor is a Toronto based performer, writer, producer and straight-up word prankster. This episode’s guest Aubrie Williams chats with Sam about the convenience of owning tons of weird costumes when Halloween rolls around and the two discuss how hard it may be to let go of a very obvious costume, even if you never use it.  This week’s props: two black zentai suits and two sets of military fatigues.  

Aubrie Williams is a comedic writer and performer who has been part of sketch groups Mani Pedi and Goat Rodeo.  She’s done improv with King Friday Improv and is one half of King Friday Productions. Currently she is working on a comedic crime drama Ombre the Ombrecide Detective for Storyloom.

Shannon DeVido is a BAFTA Breakthrough actress, comedian, and writer. She is best known for her work on TV in Bridesman, Difficult People, Insatiable, Delco Proper, Manifest, and Law & Order: SVU. Coming soon, she will be seen in Bob Odenkirk’s new show Lucky Hank on AMC. She created the role of Buck in Mike Lew’s play Teenage Dick and in 2022 won an Elliot Norton Award for her performance. She is also the lead in the SWSX Award winning film, Best Summer Ever. Her YouTube channel, Stare at Shannon, has amassed over 1 million views and is focused on dismantling the societal stereotypes of people with disabilities. Finally, Shannon has written three award winning short films, The Siblings Liebencrantz, Musical Chairs, and Cindy and Piper Drive to McDonald’s that have appeared in film festivals around the world.
