The WNBA has been in existence for 25 years. In that 25 years...the league has failed to turn a profit. On average...the WNBA loses roughly $10 million per season. If it weren't for the NBA subsidizing the WNBA...the league wouldn't exist.

WNBA players are calling for larger shares of the league's revenue. WNBA players want to be compensated "fairly"...and want their revenue sharing to match the revenue sharing NBA players receive.
