There's a trend I've been seeing in the online space among mom influencers about how we should stop talking about how hard motherhood is because it makes it feel harder. As someone who has studied the sociological context of motherhood and built a platform based in part on conversations about the challenges of motherhood, I am responding with my own thoughts.

I'm sharing why we actually should continue to talk about how hard motherhood and parenting can be, as well as some of my own experiences of how openness about the challenges can be freeing. Plus, I'm giving a little behind the scenes about how bedtime & sleep is currently going at my house (and I'll give you a hint: it's not great).
