Charlie Louise is a young singer songwriter from Cornwall has been gigging relentlessly during 2019, so unsurprisingly we invited her to perform at Down to the Wire.

Her fantastic music combines both the country and pop genres, which never fails to impress audiences. Charlie performed on the mainstage of Looe Saves the Day and has performed along sides acts such as Wildwood Kin, The Kaizens and Sound of the Sirens.

The Babysnakes formed in 2000 over a mutual love of sugary tea and acoustic guitar driven pop songs. Following a short ten-year hiatus, they are embarking on a mission to make everyone's life better via the medium of nicely written and executed pop songs.

Shannon Amy Lewis resides in Westward Ho! North Devon travelling around the UK sharing her songs. With no musical background in her family, at the age of 9 started playing guitar.

Episode 26: Chryssa Brown

Having picked up the guitar at 24, Chryssa is a relatively new face to the music scene. Despite this, music has always been an important part of her life. Growing up in Devon and with roots now in Portsmouth, Chryssa is not one to shy away from new adventures and she tries to encapsulate this spirit in her lyrics and melodies. She performs material based upon real-life experiences of love, loss, life and places near and far.

Owly Dave busked the Paris Metro for 3 years in the late 70's playing mainly Donovan and Dylan songs. In the early 80's he played in DenRay's band 'Planet Waves'. These days he plays his own songs with occasional public performances close to home.
