There are plenty of fall festivals around Missouri, but the Olde Tyme Apple Festival in Versailles has become a pretty big tradition in Mid-Missouri. Thousands of people head to downtown Versailles each October for a weekend that includes a parade, car show, live music, food, contests, and plenty of apple-themed treats. And then there’s a demolition derby and figure-8 race to wrap things up.
The festival is coming up October 3rd and 4th, and joining us is Erik Ackerson with the Versailles Area Chamber of Commerce.

The film premiered in St. Louis last week, and joining Show Me Today are director Chris Ryan and Dan Burkhardt, executive producer and co-founder of Magnificent Missouri.
