Throughout the duration of his political life, the current US president has often been injudicious - he has stumbled, gaffed, and miscalculated. Last night's State of the Union address is the first time he stood up and bathed in the afterglow of his accomplishments. It is arguable these perceived exploits are being felt by the American people. But no matter how bad the situation, he channeled Ronald Reagan by saying "Finish The Job" - a word salad remixed from Reagan's "Stay The Course" which he uttered some 40 years ago. Biden's real purpose appears to be as a very well-behaved puppet for the military.
