The DEAR MAN skill was the first thing I learned in the Partial Hospitalization program. This is one of the pivotal skills on my Mental Health journey. When you learn how to communicate what you need from those around you, and how to set boundaries, a whole new world opens up to you. Every one should enjoy life together. By learning how to fix issues the instant they arise, the more you open yourself to happiness with those close to you.
Hello everyone, I promised you I would be open in this podcast. I recently had surgery, and I've barely been present this last week. So, I decided to do Am I The Jerks because it helped me get through the episode I might not have had the energy to do otherwise.
We're moving on to the next stage of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Inner Personal Effectiveness. Before we dive in too deep, I thought I'd give an overview. Join me as I highlight these skills through the film Reel Steel, starring Evangeline Lily and Hugh Jackman.
Welcome to the next state of your DBT journey. Interpersonal Effectiveness. Follow me as I dive into AITA--or Jerk in this podcast because I also post an episode on the radio every week--as we explore different ways to communicate with the people who matter most to us.
It's officially the last episode of Mindfulness before diving into interpersonal relationships (how to deal with relationships). This holiday is hard for me so I decided to rely on something funny to get me through today's Podcast. Modern Family is a great show to jump in and out of, and it has so many dynamics to explore DBT through. So join me as I dive into Episode 3 & 4. Let me know whether or not you guys want me to do Will & Grace instead.
It's been a minute since we've explored DBT through music. I love these episodes because it gives me the opportunity to listen to some of my favorite artists. I don't know why I ended up picking so many break-up songs, but I couldn't imagine putting together a better list of songs. The "How Skill" is an important step to achieving mindfulness. I can't believe I almost missed sharing it with you.
I can't tell you how many time's I've watched and enjoyed this show. Sticking to the theme of Pride, I decide to break down the first two episodes of Modern Family. We're exploring the What Skill this week in DBT. Hopefully, you'll all be able to pick up a new skill to help you have and keep happy summer.
In this week's episode, to celebrate Pride month, I dive into two episodes of Will & Grace, a show I discovered later in life, but really highlights a lot of amazing points in DBT. I can't wait to break down this week's topic with you all.
This week I decided to share one of my favorite shows. Whenever I'm struggling a lot, and I need to make it to my next therapy appointment I turn this show on. There are so many brilliant therapists on this show helping people cope with mental illness. While I don't have hoarding disorder, I'm inspired every day by the people working to better their lives with the help of some amazing doctors.
Thank you all for being so patient. A lot has been going on with me these past two months, but working on this radio show/podcast has meant so much. This interview with Erin Kennedy from Comedy Sportz was so good I played it twice on the Radio. Please, join in, and listen to interview where two performers express the magical effect laughter can have on your mental heatlh.

Hello everyone, my name is Camron Gran. A year ago I checked myself into a partial hospitalization program and learned a lot about DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Skills. Something I noticed.…
