Show Us Your Mix

As winter creeps in, we can't help but reminisce about the warm wind in our hair, great jams on the radio, other cliches, anything that might take our minds off how creepy this mix turned out sounding. Thanks to Marc for ruining the good vibes we thought we got from it originally. Bastard.

These songs are sappy, we looked it up, it's true. Thank god we have each other, some drinks, and our senses of humor to guide us through the cheese that lays within. Shout out Celine Dion.

We made Jade's week when we said we had a metal mix for him, then we showed him what was on it and he swore he'd never speak to us again. We did calm him down long enough to get this episode recorded at least. Sorry again Jade, love ya bud.

The mind of Matty guides us through the eras and the charts in this blast from the hip hop past. This episode is red state Karl approved!

The only thing random about this is the choice of songs and the title. Everything else, totally normal. Join us as we chat about things just as random and laugh at very regular intervals.

Here's one from the wayback machine. Never previously heard (probably recorded between episodes 15 and 25?), back when Graham was still our friend, and the one and only time we've had four people in the room! Mikey, the friend that keeps on friending was in the house for this glorious evening that we had a most unusual mix to dissect.

What is hard core? It brings to mind many things, some of which are actually on this mix. Matty helps us sift through the ones that may not qualify as such. Cheers!

This episode is special in many ways. The content, the guest, the amount of laughs we shared. Please enjoy, we surely did.

Once again we're back for the CKXU University of Lethbridge fundrive episode. This years theme, bubble gum! What makes you think of bubble gum? Cheap, disposable, but delicious and memorable, definitely nothing in common with the post secondary experience whatsoever. Anyhoo, they're running a sick station over there, so call 403-329-5189 to donate, or go to CKXU.com/pledge to help out some amazing folks!! Cheers

Legend in all our minds, Josh, comes out to play and talk about the laziest way to title a cd, short of not at all. Enjoy this one, then hot on it's heals, enjoy Taylor's version even more. (she'll do it better, I'm sure)
