Show Us Your Mix

It's that time of year again! Our friends at CKXU have sent us a mix to listen to. It's all part of their annual Fundrive.

Their goal is to raise $20,000 to overhaul their Music Library space to increase accessibility, create clear organization structures for all physical CDs, vinyl, and tapes, and to increase digital server space for the Digital Music Library!

This is a much needed step for CKXU to continue to best support local and emerging musicians and provide volunteers with easily accessible and navigable musical resources!

If you'd like to donate, call 403-329-5189 OR visit their website at ckxu.com/pledge.

Boy oh boy do we have a mix for you today. Kids III is mix made for road trippin. Half of the mix is classic rock bangers and the other half is kids song, Big shout out to our boy Evan for hooking this one up.

Summer 08! Ahh the Summer of...boring pop music? Doesn't have much of a ring to it. We're glad we have this relic to remember. Never forget.

It's not for you, your friends or your enemies! This one goes out to our homegirl, wherever she may be. We hope this mix finds her well.

MUSIC - a uniquely descriptive title for a mix cd. We're off to a good start. Graham was away this ep so our dear friend MATTY jumped on the mic.

What? You've never heard of a Taffy mix?!? You should get out more often.

Drunk Love - you know it, you love it. Beyonce kind of sings about it. This mix is fun and weird, what a time!

Didn't quite do the trick to make us happy but we do appreciate the effort. Lots of strings, lots of feelings... And from us, too many opinions? Naahhh.

Didn't think we'd encounter a mix made for a shelf but, here we are. Or was it made BY a shelf? Hard to say.

Paul? Heather? Couple legends if you ask us. We can barely remember 2004 but were thankful this power couple made a memento.
