She is an angel mom to two twin girls born too soon due to pPROM (Preterm premature rupture of membranes). Her goal is to give voice to the experience of black moms who have suffered perinatal loss.

Jamila is the Executive Director of ACHIEVEability, a nonprofit organization working to permanently break the generational cycle of poverty for low income, single parent, homeless families.
