  • Evil Dead 2 directed by Sam Raimi

Welcome to Shroom Land. This week we’ll be chatting about Evil Dead 2, directed by Sam Raimi. Strap in for a bit of gore, a lot of strangeness, and a disproportionate amount of sex jokes.

EXPLICIT content. Listen at your own risk. This gets a little horrifying and pretty weird. It’s exactly what you’re looking for with our podcast.

  • Beautiful You by Chuck Palahniuk

CONTENT WARNING: THIS EPISODE IS VERY NSFW. And also more than a little gross. It’s gonna be a great time.

Welcome to Shroom Land. This week we’ll be covering Beautiful You by Chuck Palahniuk and it’s not entirely clear what happened. Listen to us go over erotic world domination, a sex witch in Nepal, and how men love to fall in love with shy brunette women after they spill coffee all over themselves.

Once again, this is EXPLICIT content. Listen at your own risk. Brittney begins to casually lose her mind in this one, but it makes for an entertaining experience.

  • Troll 2 directed by Claudio Fragasso

Welcome to Shroom Land. This week we’ll be covering Troll 2 directed by Claudio Fragasso. It is perhaps one of the stranger viewing experiences ever and you get this very fun opportunity to hear the plot without subjecting yourself to the visuals. We go over white people horror movie struggles, vegetarian trolls (that aren't actually trolls), and how hot things can get when you have corn on the cob. Don’t miss out, it’s pretty great.

  • Bunny by Mona Awad

Welcome to Shroom Land. This week we’ll be covering Bunny written by Mona Awad. It is hilariously bizarre and we’re absolutely sure you’ll love every second of it. We go over how to blow up bunnies to make boys, the complicated life of a graduate student, and how cult-y girl friendships can be sometimes. It was a great book, Spoiler: we recommend. It’s good for laughs.

About Shroom Land

From the publisher's feed

Welcome to Shroom Land. Contrary to what the title may imply, neither of us partake in any type of hallucinogens, though sometimes you will think that we have. Rather than get into drugs, we’ve opted to find the weirdest media we can and discuss our pseudo trip on this podcast.
