With the highest level of production value of podcasting couch history, we're proud to bring you our (late) Christmas special episode. Starting with a session of appreciation to our respected archbishop, followed by a discussion on our views on presents. Is cooking a meal a sufficient Christmas present? What do we think about "I am your gift"? Listen and you'll see~ With a twist, we go wild in a game of couch improv, where jay set 3 basic scenarios and the couch plays the rest of the story by the ear. This week’s Friday special we start off with a quick update of Jay’s recent podcast collaboration endeavours. Then we touch upon Pong’s hatred towards the pyramid scheme, and consequently his anger management issues. To cool things off, Prof. Physics leads the discussion starting with HK’s overtime culture, followed by Jay’s piece on workplace factions and his coworker appreciation section. The couch then debates upon whether having connections are more beneficial than having practical knowledge, which inevitably leads to work responsibility and a sharing of Pong’s sour experience as an intern. This lengthy episode ends with pointed remarks towards snobby seniors, and the disadvantages of a company that values job tenure over ability.
