This week I welcome Marcello back to the show and we celebrate his birthday with a movie of his choice. This time we talk about Swingers and how it can be looked at as a night out with true friends and how friends can really help lift you up when you’re down. Check it out!

The book turned film adaptation of “The Serpent and The Rainbow” is the movie we look at this week and it was viewer recommended. This Wes Craven film delves into Voodoo practices and shows how evil people can become. Does it hold up all of these years later? Tune in to find out!

This movie was phenomenal and I highly recommend watching this film. This week I discuss the plot in its chronological order rather than its reverse chronological portrayal. I would love to revisit this film for a discussion episode in the future. Enjoy the show!

This week’s episode is on the 2025 comedy “One of Them Days.” Those of you that voted on which type of movie you’d like to hear next chose a comedy film. So thank you for helping decide this week’s episode. Keke Palmer and Sza star in this buddy comedy and keep getting into worse and worse situations all just to pay rent. This one is fun to watch! This week the classic board game “Clue” comes to life on the big screen. How well does this whodunnit game translate to film? This week I suffer so you don’t have to, as I review The Guyver. This movie is an all over the place Sci-Fi action movie that makes no sense, and it also stars Mark Hamill. You won’t want to miss this one. Follow the show on Instagram @Shuffleboxpodcast. Follow Alex on Instagram @AlexVallejos92 and on Letterboxd @Alexv1021.

This week I go over what I have planned for Shufflebox going into 2025. I also give a little bit of a life update.
