Ro: Pe strada liniştită din suburbie, toate casele erau acoperite de un strat proaspăt de zăpadă.
En: On the quiet street in the suburb, all the houses were covered with a fresh layer of snow.

Ro: Zăpada scânteia uşor sub razele reci ale soarelui de iarnă.
En: The snow sparkled gently under the cold rays of the winter sun.

Ro: Totul părea nemişcat, doar câte un sunet slab de maşină se auzea în depărtare, amintind de oraşul aflat nu departe.
