It's that time once again you sick fucks! Make some popcorn & turn down the lights! Make sure all your windows and doors are locked. This week's horror treat is Clive Barker's Nightbreed (1990). Written & directed by Clive Barker. He also wrote and directed the horror film cult classic Hellraiser.
Storyline: Aaron Boone (Craig Sheffer) is haunted by terrifying nightmares of a city of monsters. He goes to see a psychiatrist, Dr. Decker (David Cronenberg), for help. But what Boone doesn't know is that Decker is really a serial killer. Decker frames Boone to take the fall for his murders, and Boone is killed by the police. But Boone is brought back to life by the monsters of his dreams, the Nightbreed, who in turn join Boone in his quest to stop Decker from killing again.

Storyline: A woman wakes up in a cryogenic chamber with no recollection of how she got there, and she must find a way out before running out of air.

It's that time once again you sick fucks! Make some popcorn & turn down the lights! Make sure all your windows and doors are locked. This week's blood-soaked horror flick is House of 1,000 Corpses (2003). Written & directed by Rob Zombie.
Storyline: An empty fuel tank and a flat tire lead two couples down a terror-riddled road to the House of 1000 Corpses. "House of 1000 Corpses" is at its core a story of family - a cast of twisted individuals who, with each slash of a throat or stab thru the chest, add bodies to their sick human menagerie.

Storyline: A twist on the slasher genre, following two death-obsessed teenage girls who use their online show about real-life tragedies to send their small mid-western town into a frenzy, and cement their legacy as modern horror legends.

In this week's episode, we dive into the haunted town of Silent Hill (2006). Which is based on the original video game Silent Hill released on January 31st, 1999. Storyline: Rose Da Silva and her husband Christopher are deeply disturbed by their adopted daughter Sharon's constant sleepwalking and nightmares about Silent Hill, a town in West Virginia that was abandoned in the 1970s due to a massive coal seam fire. Against Christopher's wishes, Rose takes Sharon on a trip to Silent Hill to find answers. Her erratic behavior concerns police officer, Cybil Bennett. Rose flees from Cybil, but when a girl steps out into the road, Rose crashes and blacks out. Waking up sometime later, Rose finds herself in the foggy dimension of Silent Hill and realizes that Sharon is missing.

Storyline: Spanning over two decades of research and innovation from the 1960s to the early-1980s, the Arboria Institute--a secluded New Age commune and a state-of-the-art research facility--and the pill-popping psychiatrist, Dr. Barry Nyle, are particularly interested in their newest specimen: the female patient, Elena. To begin to understand her mind-boggling telekinetic and telepathic abilities, the demented doctor keeps Elena heavily sedated and in a constant catatonic state; however, her capabilities are unfathomable. What are Dr. Nyle's deeper intentions? In the end, could the institute's utopian doctrine be flawed after all?

Sick Folks of Cinema Ep.26 It Follows (2014)
In this week's episode, something is following us. No matter where we go it always knows where we are. It can be a random stranger or somebody we know. You can only pass it on by having sex with another person. This is one intense horror film not to be missed! It Follows (2014) directed by David Robert Mitchell.
Storyline: After a carefree teenager, Jay (Maika Monroe) sleeps with her new boyfriend, Hugh (Jake Weary), for the first time, she learns that she is the latest recipient of a fatal curse that is passed from victim to victim via sexual intercourse. Death, Jay learns, will creep inexorably toward her as either a friend or a stranger. Jay's friends don't believe her seemingly paranoid ravings until they too begin to see the phantom assassins and band together to help her flee or defend herself.

Storyline: Desperate for money to pay off a debt, a man targets a wealthy family's home and plans to break in and steal a valuable gem. He soon learns that he picked the wrong night to carry out his plans, for a masked madman has gotten there first, imprisoned the family, and lined the mansion with deadly traps.
