Kericia teaches that movement is the foundation of your life both for your physical health and mental wellbeing. And explains how your body is truly your one true permanent home, it helps you show up and engage with life and that’s why it’s so important to take care of it through movement.
In this episode she shares her tips for starting and sticking with a fitness routine and the secret behind why a lot of people don’t keep up with it, and why starting your day with movement is one of the best things you can do for yourself.

Kericia grew up swinging off tree branches and climbing fences to get away from dogs in Trinidad. Her early love and passion for movement heavily influenced her education and career path. She completed an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Health Science, and a postgraduate diploma in Workplace Wellness and Health Promotion and went on to work within the health and fitness industry in both the private and public sector as a Movement Specialist, Personal Trainer, Mentor and Educator. To date, Kericia has prepped and mentored hundreds of Personal Trainers in the industry with a focus on improving their client's quality of movement. She currently operates her own fitness coaching brand @thelabto that focuses on improving the way "everyday" people move and experience
