What is the Amazon Influencer program:

  • The Amazon Influencer Program is one of the easiest ways to make money we've ever seen.
    • Amazon Associates - been around a long time. The best feature about this is fairly new, which is called on site placement.
      • You have a store front where you upload videos, if approved, these videos most of the will be placed on Amazon product listings

        • What is so special about this?

        • With most social - it can be really hard to get consistent traffic, up hill battle.
        • With this aspect of Amazon Influencer - Amazon drives consistent traffic to their listings.
        • When your video is on the listing - you are naturally going to get traffic to your video

          • Getting started:

          • Google search Amazon Influencer program
          • You need to have a social media presence - Amazon doesn't give you the exact numbers of how many followers you have or what engagement you should have.
          • Ideally you already have an account - even one you haven't used for a while
          • If not, get one up as soon as you can - as account age is definitely a factor
          • If you do get approved, it is immediate - this is the first level which just gets you into the Amazon Influencer program - not on-site placement
          • Next step is uploading 3 videos - takes a few weeks for approval
          • Videos are basic reviews of products around your house

            • Guidelines

            • Horizontal video
            • Talk about the positives and any negatives of product
            • 1-2 minutes
            • Good audio
            • Not a lot of distracting background
