Hosted by Kent State University senior public relations students Izzy Stewart and Pilar Lewis, Sideline Talk focuses on pointing out the misrepresentation of female athletes and the lack of recognition in women’s sports.

In this episode:

Izzy and Pilar dive into the lack of media coverage in women’s sports, including their own personal experiences as female athletes. With only 4% of sports media coverage granted to female athletes, the two dissect the problem and how it can be fixed. From specific sports campaigns to efforts being made by professional female athletes, this episode sheds light on how prominent of an issue this has always been and continues to be.
