Passage: John 20:24-31 // We've all heard of history's most famous nickname "Doubting Thomas" ... but what if we are missing the real point of this skeptics opportunity? What if his doubt is perfectly normal, and he should really be remembered for something else?

Also, for 9+ years we have considered Jesus in one way or another in the building at 4401 2nd AVE NE Seattle in Wallingford. God has been good to us here, we've grown up as a church, we endured a pandemic, we've seen transitions aplenty. This Sunday marks our final service in this space and so we will remember all the blessings of these last 9 years.

In fact, this is the primary way we know that we have had a true encounter with the one true living God, who made himself known to the world in the person of Jesus Christ. We saw his peace minister to Mary Magdalene’s sorrow and despair last week, and this week, we will see Christ’s peace minister to the fear of the ten disciples and the doubt of Thomas. God’s Peace always arrives with Christ’s resurrection presence. Start considering when and how the peace of God tends to minister to you… and know that this means the presence of Christ is there, too, by the powerful witness of His Holy Spirit.
