It's a BIG show this week as the boys Ghost Rider: Spirits of Vengeance! It's a mighty big tome and it's about as mid 90's as could be! Davey has been busy listening to podcasts and gushes about an interview he heard with Denny O'Neil, and the story behind the Batman character Leslie Thompkins, who was based on a real civil rights activist.

Gary Oldman has thrown his hat into the ring and he's chasing a Marvel movie. Dave comes up with some of his worst ever fancast calls, while Stew hits it out of the park with his suggestions which include Galactus himself!

There's a whole discussion about Netflix and "Bright", and it's 10 years since the tragic death of Heath Ledger, a renowned and very talented actor who so perfect in "The Dark Knight" playing the Joker.  There's a new Robocop movie rolling down the line, and Superman's red trunks are back on the outside!

Meanwhile there's a new petition to apparently make the Joker gay "again", Dan Slott is off Spider-Man and onto Iron Man, and the boys revisit one of their favourite arguments - will Robin Williams  get a cameo as the Genie in Aladdin!

Hey gang! It's a big holiday themed episode of Signal of Doom, and we cover the fantastic 1970's trade "Batman: Strange Apparitions", by Steve Englehart and Marshall Rodgers! This is a good one folks! Gothic, moody and magnificent, with the dark of Gptham LIT UP by the magnificent Silver St Cloud! Maybe we are tipping our hand but the boys enjoyed this one!

Also, Dave has a Great New Big Idea, which involves ranking the top 3 Comic Book runs we have discussed on the show in 2017, and also our top 3 genre movies! Don't worry we also have a Most Disappointing Category as well!

Hi gang! Tonight on the second episode of Jimi's Jargon, Dave and Jimi begin a noble exploration...Geoff Johns Green Lantern run! We begin with Green Lantern: Rebirth, the mini series which starts (and restarts!) it all! Jimi has a deep knowledge of the Geoff Johns Green Lantern run and of course Dave stopped reading at about issue 10 so we are in for a wild ride on the RE-READ!

Dave also retells his origin story at Labyrinth Comics, and the tale of his first store manager, a very chilled guy, who introduced Dave to comics, to Dark Knight Returns, and the Punisher.  We also discuss the DC movie franchise and  Jimi is moved to tears at moment this show.  Dave is stoic, and unmoved, like Frank Castle.
