The Light the World Giving Machine, a popular “vending machine” that works in reverse, creating a memorable way to give to those in need during the Christmas season, will open to the public on Saturday, Nov. 16, in the courtyard outside of Harkins in Prescott Valley. Henry Edward Whitmer of Prescott Valley has been elected by the citizens of Yavapai County to serve as the Judicial Officer in Division 5 of the Yavapai County Superior Court. Judge Whitmer received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy, magna cum laude from Arizona State University Barrett’s Honors College in May 2008.
