    In preparation for the Whiskey Off Road mountain bike race and festival April 28-30, 2023, the City of Prescott has released street closure information. Residents and businesses are urged to review the information and obey all barriers and detour signs. This is a live race event, with riders moving at high speeds through downtown streets at times. Drivers in the area during the event are urged to use caution and follow all posted signs. Street closure plans are designed to allow all impacted businesses to remain open during the event.   • Prescott Valley Outdoor Summit Exhibits at Whiskey Off-Road This Weekend

    The Prescott Valley Outdoor Summit will have a booth at the Whiskey Off-Road in downtown Prescott, AZ. this Friday, April 28th - Sunday, April 30th.  2023 marks the second annual outdoor summit. Last year the event garnered 70 exhibitors and 4,000 attendees. According to the event's promoters, exhibitor sign-ups are ahead of last year and the promoter's goal is 100 exhibitors and 6,500+ attendees in 2023.   • ADOT to Repave 3 Miles of State Route 69 in Prescott Valley

    The Arizona Department of Transportation will begin a project this spring to replace three miles of pavement on State Route 69 in Prescott Valley. The million project will involve replacing the top layer of pavement between Truwood and Stoneridge drives, from mileposts 287-290. The work will include updating sidewalk ramps and replacing damaged sidewalk segments. Work is expected to continue through fall 2023. To reduce the impact to drivers, all work will take place overnight between 7:00 pm and 6:00 am. Sunday evenings through Friday mornings.
