The Town of Prescott Valley has installed a new four-way stop traffic control at Viewpoint Drive and Long Look Drive to enhance driver and pedestrian safety in the area. The four-way stop opened on Friday morning, November 19. The intersection now has stop signs at all four corners, with All Way indications on the eastbound and westbound approaches. The Town has also installed “Stop Ahead” and “New Traffic Pattern Ahead” signs in advance of the intersection. An environmental cleanup began the first week of November at the abandoned Poland Mine and Eugene Mine within the Bradshaw Mountains in Yavapai County, Arizona. The Eugene Mine is located entirely on public land within the Bradshaw Ranger District of the Prescott National Forest while a portion of the Poland Mine is situated on privately owned land. Both mines are near the town of Poland Junction and the residential area of Breezy Pines.
