🎙On today's episode of Signs and Sparks ... The gang is catching up on weekend tings and recapping Mya's weekend. From a recent guest spot on the CLEAN YOUR MICROWAVE podcast -- Mya asks the other ladies on thoughts of gender roles and if there is a such thing as 50/50 relationships and if they still exist. Nothing wrong with carrying your own weight but also acknowledging as we spoke in the past-- every relationship, the goals, the narrative is always going to be different. Outside the normal kicks and giggles, we touch on some of the changes (like gas increases) going on recently and our takes on it.

The ladies are back with special guest Ash B (Pop) from the 'Slang N Serve' Podcast. In this episode we are asking 'Why Therapy?'--talking Black Girls and the decision to choose therapy. We touch on the reasons that some including some of our panel chose therapy and the journey that has done for them and a short list information on your expectations in a therapist and even if it something that you would like to explore. The ladies drop some gems on making the decision to choose an outside advisor, which can be troublesome for some because of vulnerability. Having to speaking on things such as repressed anger, healing journeys, and relationships of all sorts for both black men and women. We also make mention of alternative therapies, social groups to look into that can also be a form a therapy-- know that you are not alone in what your are feeling and that its ok to not be ok. Of course there are a alot of laughs along with truths to help you in the right direction

From Tinder to Hinge to Facebook dating and more, we speak on what the goal/intention is while perusing the plethora of singles near and far. What is it that you are looking for that you aren't able to find on the normal outings with friends ( night out with the fellas or the ladies ). We also touch on dating outside of our own race, the downsides of dating apps--outside of the 'Catfish' ordeal, the "Reality" of dating-- speaking on popular shows like Love Is Blind, Married at First Sight etc. and if these options would be something you would do and more.
