Arjun, Jason, and Prasanth sit down with Murray A. Reicher, MD, FACR (@murrayreicher) - doctor, inventor and serial healthcare entrepreneur. A radiologist and early adopter of MR imaging, Murray helped usher in the age of digital radiology as a co-Founder of DR systems. In the time since, he has helped start multiple companies in the digital health and imaging space, including most recently Health Companion and Health Beacons.

In this short bonus episode, the team sits down with Dr. Jim Whitfill (@jwhitfill), who is taking the helm at SIIM as the new Chair. We talk about his path to the chairmanship and what he sees on the horizon for SIIM. We also introduce our new co-host, Jason Nagels (@jaynagels).

As an author and a Ted Talk Speaker, e-Patient Dave deBronkart is an advocate for patient experience, satisfaction, engagement, and safety. In May 2018, Mr. deBronkart was the keynote speaker at the SIIM 2018 Annual Meeting's opening general session. The day before this keynote speech, Dr. Paul Nagy, SIIM Chair, sat down with e-Patient Dave to discuss participatory medicine and how empowered and engaged e-patients are sharing information with their clinicians.
