Over the next couple of weeks I hope to release the final episodes under this podcast. I have been through a massive life transformation over the last 3 years and when deciding what to do with 'House of Wine', I came to the conclusion that it is no longer compatible with how I feel I have evolved as a person and so I will not be continuing.

Taylor has a deep understanding of both the historical and practical aspects of the discipline of meditation. He has a BA in Inter-Cultural Studies with an emphasis on indigenous cultures and practices, as well as a minor in Biblical studies from Biola University. He also completed his MA in Theology and Religion from the Claremont School of Theology, where his studies focused on transpersonal aspects of experience and becoming.

In this weeks introductory episode we embark on a journey into mystic prayer. For centuries the ancients have cultivated with God an interior life through various meditative practices. It is not so much about what the practice is that is important, rather it is important what the practice causes to grow. This is the grounding principle of mystic prayer. We make ourselves open and attentive to the leading of Gods Spirit as He enables us to abandon ourselves into the care and nurture of a loving Father.

This week I will be sharing a teaching I did within the Glory City Academy as part of a series called “living in prayer”. The teaching attempts to articulate the mystery of the Lords table. I really believe the Holy Spirit is inviting us to discover the nature of God in the blessed sacrament. It plays an important and vital role in the unification of the body of Christ and a personal role in its supply of heavenly sustenance to our souls. It connects us to the clarity of the Fathers heart and practically helps us to present ourselves into His loving care as we continue to follow him.

On this week’s episode I join a pioneer and Father in the faith Georgian Banov to hear about His life with the Lord. Him and His wife Winnie have been instrumental in helping to restore a vital pillar of theology to the body of Christ, specifically a true understanding infused righteousness. They are known as apostles of Joy and despite a life of front-line ministry in the gospel, Georgian is full of the energy of the Spirit and truly is a carrier of a mature wine of intimate fellowship with God. His depth in the scripture is extraordinary yet it expresses itself in the simplicity of joy and a hunger to know Jesus more deeply.
