Find a position where you feel held—sitting or lying down.
Close your eyes. Place one hand on your belly, the other over your heart.
Breathe in slowly…
And exhale deeply, letting your body drop into this moment.
There may be stories you’ve carried—stories filled with guilt,
whispered lies that said it was your fault,
that you should’ve known, or done more, or stayed quiet.
But today, we offer those stories to the light.
Begin to scan your body for where you feel shame or guilt hiding.
It may sit in your throat.
Or curl up in your chest.
Maybe it clings to your shoulders or wraps around your stomach.
Wherever it lives, breathe into it now.
Not to force it out—but to give it room.
Whisper gently:
“You do not belong to me.”
“I release you now, with love.”
Visualize these feelings as smoke, lifting from your body with every exhale—
drifting upward, dissolving into light.
This shame was never yours.
These guilt-soaked thoughts were taught to you, not born from truth.
Now, speak these words into the space:
“I forgive myself for what I didn’t know.”
“I forgive myself for surviving the only way I knew how.”
“I do not have to carry this weight anymore.”
Inhale freedom.
Exhale release.
Let your body rest in the truth that you were never to blame.
Let that truth settle deep.
When you’re ready, return gently to the room.
And remember—each release is a return to yourself.
