In this episode, we shift our focus to the psychological underpinnings of urban crime. Through interviews with criminologists, psychologists, and former offenders, we explore the complex motivations, thought processes, and behavioral patterns that drive individuals to commit heinous acts. We examine the role of mental illness, trauma, and environmental factors in shaping criminal behavior, as well as the effectiveness of rehabilitation and reintegration programs in breaking the cycle of recidivism.
