Wir waren erneut zu Gast bei Oliver Straubel von Holism.
Aber dieses Mal wollten wir wissen was es mit der Digitalen Transformation Akademie (kurz: DTA) auf sich hat. Wir sprachen über einzelne digitale Themen, die wichtig sind auf dem Weg zum digitalen Unternehmen und darüber wie lang eigentlich diese digitale Transformation noch dauert.

Wir waren erneut am Phönixsee. Dieses Mal haben wir Stephan Wilforth bei der tetraeder GmbH besucht.
Wir sprachen mit ihm über die Möglichkeiten, digital darzustellen, ob bestimmte Dachflächen für eine PV-Anlage in Frage kommen. Hierzu bietet tetraeder die geeigneten Online-Kartendienste und hilft so Kommunen, Stadtwerken, Handwerksunternehmen und anderen Marktteilnehmern, ihren Kunden und den Bürgern die richtigen Anhaltspunkte für die Anschaffung einer Solaranlage darzustellen.
Öffentliche Einrichtungen können so auch für ganze Regionen auswerten, wo es noch Ausbaupotential für PV-Anlagen gibt.
Als Hausbesitzer kann man - anhand von Informationen zu Sonneneinstrahlung, Verschattung und Dachneigung - genau auswerten, inwieweit das eigene Dach für eine Solaranlage geeignet ist.
Je nach Ausprägung des Online-Dienstes beim jeweiligen Kooperationspartner kann der Nutzer dann sogar die Solarpanäle anhand der Kartendarstellung platzieren bis hin zur Berechnung eines solchen Projektes.

Wir sprachen mit Dirk Aschenbrenner, dem Leiter der Dortmunder Feuerwehr und Vorsitzenden des Deutschen Rettungsrobotik Zentrums (DRZ) über die Digitalisierung im Rettungswesen und entsprechenden Einsatzszenarien.
Dazu besuchten wir ihn an seinem Arbeitsort in der Feuerwache 1 in Dortmund Mitte. Er beantwortete uns Fragen zur Karriere in der Feuerwehr und zum Sinn und Zweck des DRZ.
Wir erfuhren, wie Forschung und Innovation auf das Rettungswesen einwirken und welche Besonderheiten technische und digitale Neuerungen in diesem Bereich erfüllen müssen.

Wir trafen Stefan Michaelis vom Lamarr-Institute for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence auf dem Campus der TU Dortmund.
Wir sprachen mit ihm über die Chancen europäischer KI-Lösungen, welches die Aufgabe des Instituts ist und warum es wichtig ist, das Thema »Künstliche Intelligenz« ganzheitlich zu betrachten.
Er gab uns einen Einblick in die KI-Bildungs- und Forschungslandschaft in Deutschland und Europa und ordnete diese in den internationalen Kontext ein. Zudem streiften wir das Thema Datenschutz in Verbindung mit der Verwendung von KI-Lösungen.

Wir trafen das Stadtoberhaupt von (Silicon-)Dortmund - Oberbürgermeister Thomas Westphal - zum Interview.
Bei dieser Gelegenheit fragten wir gleich mal nach, was es mit dem »iCapital Award« auf sich hat, den Dortmund verliehen bekommen hat.
Wir erfuhren, welche verschiedenen digitalen Innovationen unserer Stadt bevorstehen und warum Hotspots wie der Phoenix-See und das Hafenquartier Sinn machen.

Wir sind zu Gast bei Sogeti und dem sympathischen Niederlassungsleiter in Dortmund: Daan Kroonen.
Er erzählt uns was der IT-Dienstleister vor hat und was für den neuen Standort geplant ist. Wir unterhalten uns zu den verschiedenen Ausrichtungen und Stärken rund um Cloudservices und Software-Testing. Während viele noch fragen „Meta what?“ hat der Dortmunder Energieversorger DEW21 den Schritt in das Metaverse gewagt.
Wir sprachen mit Mareen Lipkow - Leitung Marketing, Kommunikation und Digital - über die Gründe für diesen Schritt. Sie gab uns interessante Einblicke in die Kommunikation eines Energieversorgers und in die Zukunft der Kommunikation mit Kunden und in das Werben um neue Mitarbeiter*innen in Zeiten des Fachkräftemangels.
Mareen stellte uns die Herausforderungen eines klassischen Energieversorgers für die Zukunft vor und wie man das Metaverse nutzen kann, um neue Zielgruppen sowohl als Kunden aber noch mehr als mögliche zukünftige Arbeitskräfte zu gewinnen.
Sie verriet uns, warum das Metaverse etwas anderes ist als Second-Life und gab uns Einblicke in Ihre Erwartungen an das Internet der Zukunft.

Wir waren am Phönixsee und sprachen mit Petra Blume von OPTIMAL SYSTEMS Dortmund über die lange Geschichte der Digitalisierung im Büro. Dabei erfuhren wir, dass sie als Führungskraft bei einem DAX-Konzern als erste Mitarbeiterin überhaupt über ein E-Mail-Postfach verfügte; über einige Anekdoten fanden wir den Weg in die Gegenwart. Petra ist auch heute mit Optimal Systems immer noch Vorreiterin, was die Digitalisierung von Unternehmen und deren Prozesse angeht.
Mit der Software »enaio« liefert ihr Unternehmen passende Lösungen. Ob Dokumentenmanagement, Archivierung, Rechnungsbearbeitung oder mobiles Arbeiten, die Softwaresuite hat auf viele Herausforderungen die richtigen Antworten; auch für das Thema Forensik.
