This week Mike and Scott discuss how a number of Silicon Valley business stories have clamored for attention.  In terms of immediate impact, the biggest news was the San Jose City Council, after months of trying to cut a better deal, finally listened to all of those developers and real estate speculators who have bet big money in the neighborhood and voted to approve Google's downtown plan.  Even the San Jose Sharks, which had been threatening to move away over parking -- no one actually believed they'd do it -- caved.
