Biblical community sounds like it ends up being perfect but because we're involved, it's far from it! It's hard to know how to handle broken relationships, especially when it involves other Christ followers. Today we talk about how we can work to restore and reclaim this broken friendships according to Scripture!

Often times we can look at church and community as two different things when in reality they should be one in the same! God's purpose for us as Christ's followers is to live life alongside one another, realizing that we're not in it alone! Join us as we begin our April series looking at the community we can have as we navigate through life's challenges!

The words the angel said to the women at the tomb in Matthew 28:6 are still true today - "He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay." Today we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, who through His death and resurrection extended salvation and the promise of eternity in Heaven with Him! We are so glad that you are celebrating Easter with us this morning!

The final week of Jesus' life was full of many things, but one of the prominent things was suffering. We can learn much from His suffering, both about Him and how He lived his life but also how we can handle our own suffering today! Ultimately His suffering led to our freedom that came with Easter Sunday!

Some days seem to drag on forever no matter what you do. Our longest days don't come close to an eventful Thursday night that Jesus had during the 8 Days That Changed the World. Over the course of just 18 hours Jesus was betrayed, denied and tried. The next time it feels like our world is collapsing, we can remember that Jesus overcame more than we can imagine and He promises to bring us out of our own time of desperation.

As people, we may not be able to agree on much, but one thing we can all agree on is the importance and value of special meals. For us it may be Christmas or Easter or the celebration of an anniversary that brings those meals to mind, but in the last days of Jesus' life here on Earth He took time to break bread with those closest to Him. There's a special connection that takes place when we share something as simple as a meal together and Jesus understood that.

The final week of Jesus' life led way to the most significant chain of events in human history! Throughout the month leading up to Easter Sunday, we will be looking at 8 Days That Changed the World - there is so much we can learn about the person of Jesus by seeing how He carried Himself when He knew His time on earth was coming to an end.

Jesus may have not been a lawyer but He too never asked a question He didn't know the answer to. The questions He asked led to true and miraculous life-change in the people who He came into contact with. Sometimes the question He can ask is as simple as, "Are you willing to listen?" This morning we have the chance to be encouraged by a few people in our Silver Creek family that answered that question with a yes and it's changing not only them but their family as well!

Fear is real - it can be crippling and overwhelming. When we find ourselves in a situation where fear is the natural reaction it can be hard to separate the emotion of what we're experiencing and what Jesus instructs us to do in those times. This week we look at His question of His own disciples, "Why are you so afraid?"

We serve a God who not only truly loves us but knows how to show His love in tangible ways. As the topic of love is at the top of our minds this week, we look at some ways that God shows His love for us and in turn helps us further understand what love truly is!
