Fear is real - it can be crippling and overwhelming. When we find ourselves in a situation where fear is the natural reaction it can be hard to separate the emotion of what we're experiencing and what Jesus instructs us to do in those times. This week we look at His question of His own disciples, "Why are you so afraid?"

We serve a God who not only truly loves us but knows how to show His love in tangible ways. As the topic of love is at the top of our minds this week, we look at some ways that God shows His love for us and in turn helps us further understand what love truly is!

If you have ever had or been around a toddler, you can understand how questions are a natural part of life. We usually think of all the questions we want to ask God one day, but what about some of the questions that Jesus asked of us when he was here on earth? Today we look at a challenging question Jesus asked when it comes to falling victim to judging others.

The only thing harder than rebuilding something that has been destroyed is thinking about rebuilding something that is in fact dead. Death seems final to us, but to God death that still has to submit itself to His authority. Put simply, nothing that's dead is beyond God's ability to bring it back to life.

Looking to rebuild something that has been completely destroyed in our own eyes is no easy task. Not only does it take faith, vision and determination, it requires us to rely on God's help and provision to see it come to pass. Nehemiah is the perfect example of how God wants to walk us through a rebuilding phase in our lives!

Failure is hard enough to deal with but when you add onto it the idea of rebuilding what you failed at, it becomes even overwhelming. This week we begin looking to Scripture to see how we can rebuild when things fall apart in our lives and believe that God has a plan for us coming out of those painful times!

The New Year brings all sorts of excitement and hope but can also bring with it some feelings of fear or anxiety as well. The best way to tackle the New Year is with the help of Jesus and being rooted in prayer! Join us this morning as we look at 3 words that will transform your prayer life not only in the New Year but at any point in your walk with Christ!

As we conclude 2023 we should take a moment and reflect on all that God has done over the last year and use it as a reminder of what can take place in the New Year to come.
