I have been remiss and not doing this podcast for several weeks.  Mea culpa.  Some resolutions for the new year - smile a lot and exercise every day.  Yikes!  Did I say every day?  (big sigh)  It's something we have to do.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  Here's what I'm thankful for.  What are you thankful for?

The good news is that the weather is finally cooling off in Florida.  the bad news is that you have to question your doctor about medications you take.

Let's face it.  When you reach your 60s, you can go in one of two directions - towards death or towards life.  I prefer heading towards more life full speed ahead and damn the torpedoes.  That's why I do this podcast, to hopefully inspire you or to just validate what you already know and are doing.  That glass is definitely half full.  If you are a listener and you have a story to tell, please email me - [email protected]

This past week has been all about volunteering and if you aren't doing it, you should!  Get out there and share your wealth of experience and knowledge with those who need it - especially the younger generation.

You know, visiting my grandkids is awesome.  All three of them are just wonderful in every sense of the word.  But it's also exhausting and while I miss them terribly when I'm not there with them (they live in LA, I live in Florida), I love my life.  I just need to be more active.

We weathered Irma quite well and were only without power for 5 days - not too bad but we did stay with friends because trying to exist at this time of year in Florida without AC is brutal.  Everyone is OK and I'm headed to LA tomorrow to see my little munchkin grandkids.  I'll tell you more next week from LA.

I was flat out on a project last week and didn't get to the podcast. I'm so sorry. This week, we are in a shelter waiting to see what Irma has in store from us. Not much to say.

I've found some new products that I want to try, so I'll keep my listeners updated on that. Also, I've had to deal with toxic people once again and share some ideas on how to do that. New entertainment that entertains!!!
