I'm dealing with silver hair growing out and due to recent photos, I can not just let it be curly.  I have to control it a bit, so here's how I do it.  Check out the video in our FB group - Silver Hair Foxes.  Just ask to join. Tools I use: Conair brush dryer and Martino split barrel curling wand.

We adopted a dog 3 weeks ago.  Already had our miniature Schnauzer but he's getting old, so I went to the animal shelter on "Clear the Shelters" Day and found this little mutt.  Her name is Princess Peanut and she now rules the roost but she's added a lot to our lives.

This podcast is about some challenges I've been struggling with and how I choose to deal with it.  It's not easy to continue to remain upbeat when people around you are creating problems or don't have your best interests at heart.  But here is a way and it's something I strive for every day.  Enjoy.  Next month I'll have stories about my grandbabies, so stay tuned.

This one is all about my cousins.  Last month we visited Savannah - a sort of reunion - and it was the first time in almost 50 years that we had been together.  Felt like we had seen each other the week before.  So much fun.  Savannah is a great place to visit. You should put it on your list.

As you know this podcast is all about me.  LOL  But it's also about advice for older women (and sometimes men), so this one is about hair.  My own journey but also some things that might help others.

I think that one of the reasons we decide we aren't of use to society anymore as we get older is that we become irrelevant.  The reason we become irrelevant is because we go out of communication with the younger generations.  We have to stay in touch with those younger than ourselves.  It's not hard to do.  In fact, it can be fun!

I think that no matter what age we are, no matter what shape our bodies are in, we have to look at the glass as half full.  We are relevant, we are visible and we are vitally important to the future of this planet.  The focus is often on the young but the focus should never be taken off of us.

In this podcast, I talk about random subjects but most notably I talk about a fellow that has a podcast that helps put you to sleep - literally.  It's called "Sleep with Me" and if you have any trouble sleeping at all, you should listen to it.  I have my husband who does something similar to what the podcaster does with his podcast.  Happy week everyone!

Back on the microphone again!  Found a great product for greying brows and aging bodies.  Some good advice in this one - especially if you have more than 20 lbs to lose to feel comfortable.  Off to LA this week to take care of the grandbabies.  Stay tuned.
