  • Silver Savage Podcast Ep. 28 - Bob Wooster

    Bob is a graduate of Dartmouth college and studied in France for a year. He was commissioned as an Air Force Officer and served as a pilot in Vietnam and reached the rank of Captain. When he got out of the military, he rode his bicycle across the country in 31 days with a friend and was featured in the news. Bob started his own homebuilding business and owned it for 28 years, and served as President of his regional Homebuilders Association. He was President of the local Kiwanis club and enjoyed his involvement in efforts to strengthen his community. An avid outdoorsman, Bob and his son recently completed hiking all of the 48 mountain peaks over 4,000 feet in New Hampshire, an effort that spanned 22 years. They are now striving to hike all of the 66 peaks over 4,000 feet in New England. Bob has loved to compete in long distance runs, including marathons. He still runs three times a week to maintain his fitness. Bob is a nationally certified soccer coach and has coached for nearly 35 years, including high school varsity. He is passionate about helping players grow physically and mentally to reach their full potential and deepen their love of the sport. Bob has been married to his wife Beckie for 46 years and has two children and three grandchildren.

She provides online therapy sessions and Walk and Talk therapy sessions on the greenway. While Cyrena sees clients from all walks of life, she has a special place in her heart for working with veterans and first responders. Being a military veteran herself, Cyrena's myriad life experiences help her to easily relate to her clients.   • Episode 26 - Ernie Kirk

    Ernie is the U.S. Representative for Krav Maga from Wingate Institute, Netanya Israel (Birthplace of Krav Maga). He holds a 5th Degree Black Belt in Krav Maga, 6th in TKD, 5th in Hapkido, Black Belt in Goju Kai and brown belt Judo. 

    Certifications through Wingate include: Senior Instructor, Military Instructor Certification, Security & Close Protection Certification, Children’s Instructor, was featured instructor at International Krav Maga Seminar at Wingate Institute and received recognition for efforts and teaching Krav Maga in America. Wingate is solely responsible for providing self-protection instructors to all combat Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) units. Mr. Kirk is the only American instructor recognized by Wingate with authority to certify others using the Wingate curriculum. 

    Mr. Ernie Kirk is the Lead Self Protection Instructor, USAF Air Advisor Academy (AFAAA), Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. In this position, Mr. Kirk is responsible for developing and providing tailored pre-deployment self-protection curriculum to all students attending USAAAA. The AFAAA mission is to support all services and students are comprised of active duty, reserve, and DAF civilians selected to support execution of DoD missions worldwide and in all threat conditions. His experience and expertise was instrumental in the creation of the USAF Air Advisor Academy’s proprietary Self Protection curriculum and the Air Education Training Command (AETC) instructor certification process. 

    Mr. Kirk was charged with self-protection instructor development of other AFAAA cadre as well select personnel from other military and law enforcement units identified to provide this necessary skill set upon certification. Mr.Kirk's extensive knowledge of combatives and real world experience made him instrumental in refining and operationalizing the AFAAA Flight Deck Denial training module. Mr. Kirk has been personally selected for his professionalism and adaptability to lead Mobile Training Teams to deliver Self-Protection and Flight Deck Denial education and training to select DOD personnel. Mr. Kirk is Lead Instructor for Flight Deck Denial and frequently instructs Special Operations Military Personel. He is also part of a Mobile Training Team specifically designed for SOPEs (Special Operations Planning Exercises). 

    Other key positions and accomplishments of Mr. Kirks include being a charter member of instructors certified to teach Israeli based Krav Maga's self-protection system in the United States. He was "Train-the-Trainer" for both Law Enforcement and civilians for Krav Maga Worldwide, the largest Krav Maga organization in the U.S. during this period. Finally, he was selected as the Director Krav Maga Worldwide Advisory Board.

  • Silver Savage Ep 25 - Scott Weiner

    Scott is a second chapter warrior and artist. After 35 years in a family business, he found himself sent to "do other things" and opened a woodshop and YouTube Content Creation studio in White Hall Maryland. He is a life-long fire responder volunteer and is currently Special Operations Lt for the Chestnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Company in Baltimore County Maryland. He has provided care as a Paramedic/Fire Fighter throughout Maryland, Connecticut and Israel most recently during Operation Protective Edge. Upon returning from that deployment with The Emergency Volunteer Project he started a whirlwind bromance with BK and the rest is history.

  • Silver Savage Podcast Ep 23 - Sean Coldiron

    Sean Coldiron is a 21 year veteran of the United States Border Patrol.  Sean entered on duty in Tucson Sector (Arizona) in 1998.  In 2000 he successfully completed assessment and selection for the Tucson Sector Border Patrol Tactical Unit (BORTAC).  BORTAC is a full-time special operations tactical unit that conducts a variety of missions in support of Homeland Security policies and objectives.  Sean served for 15 years with Tucson BORTAC in all capacities, Operator, Sniper, Assault Team Leader and served as the Deputy Commander (2IC) 2008-2012.  

    In 2012 BORTAC, in conjunction with the Anti-Smuggling Unit and BATF-E, established a small targeting team which was responsible for identifying and infiltrating violent criminal elements who were ripping drugs and money.  Sean served as the special operations supervisor for this team.  In 2013 Sean assisted with the establishment of the new Tucson Sector Special Operations Detachment (SOD) which had Command and Control (C2) authority over BORTAC, BORSTAR (Search and Rescue) and the newly formed Mobile Response Team.  Sean completed his career with BORTAC in 2015.  

    The following year Sean was selected for promotion as a Watch Commander for HQ - Customs and Border Protection, Joint Task Force West – Arizona.  From 2016 – 2019 Sean served as the Future Operations and Air Coordination Watch Commander.  Sean retired in 2019 and relocated his family to Central Texas where they currently reside.

    Prior to the Border Patrol, Sean served 6 years of Active Duty in the United States Army, entering service in 1992 and serving with the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment.   

    Currently, Sean is the owner of G2 Consulting, LLC and Director of Operations of IRONCLAD Concepts and Solutions, an experienced driven training company focused on delivering principle-based solutions to clients.  Sean also serves as an adjunct instructor in New Mexico for the Tactical Response to Suicide Bomber Incidents (TRSBI).  In addition to teaching leadership and tactics to SWAT teams around the county, Sean provides consulting work for curriculum development, counter terrorism response, and border security operations.

    Dr. Jordan Shettle PT, DPT, OCS, COMT, Cert. DN, CSCS, AOLC

    Jordan is the founder and CEO of Resilient Physiotherapy and Sports Performance. He received his Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Philosophy from Lycoming College and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Widener University with an emphasis in sports rehabilitation and manual therapy.

    During his time as a clinician, Jordan has had the opportunity to treat and aid in the recovery of countless athletes at the high school, collegiate, professional, and olympic levels. He also specializes in working with tactical athletes to include police, fire fighter, EMT, and military personnel with the unique fitness requirements needed to perform their duties at a high level.

    Jordan is recognized as a board-certified Specialist in Orthopedics (OCS) as well as a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Jordan also holds specialties in Dry Needling (Cert. DN) through the Dry Needling Institute and has specialized training through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy’s Spinal Manipulation Institute.     Dr. Madelyn Keese is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Resilient Physiotherapy and Sports Performance.  She earned her B.S. in Health Science from the University of Miami where she also played lacrosse and later went on to obtain her Doctorate in Physical therapy from the University of Maryland Baltimore. At UMB, Dr. Keese was awarded the Robert P. Gordes Award, given to the individual showing excellence in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine in their graduating class. She was also awarded the Dr. Mary Rodgers Research Award which recognizes a graduating student who has excelled in research activity. 

    Upon graduating from PT school, Dr. Keese went on to achieve some of the most noteworthy certifications in the field. She is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy (OCS) and has undergone extensive coursework and training through the Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist. Dr. Keese has completed coursework at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine which focuses on techniques designed to treat structural and functional issues, and to promote self-healing by ensuring a balance between the diagnosis and care of the patient. Her post graduate training and scope of knowledge make Dr. Keese one of the top manual therapists in the country. 

    Trained through Myopain Seminars, Dr. Keese also utilizes trigger point needling extensively in her practice to facilitate normal muscle function and tone. As a certified Pose Method Running Coach and Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Dr. Keese integrates a wide range of evidence-based techniques to help return athletes back to sport and maximize function. 

    Most recently, Dr. Keese has progressed her concussion management training by successfully completing a series of courses through the Complete Concussion Management program. She is extremely passionate about proper concussion rehabilitation, especially as the research continues to evolve
